Sacred to the Memory of Sophia Lucy,
the beloved wife of Mr. S. Webb, who departed this life on the 3d of April 1843,
aged 36 years, 4 months and 18 days.
My Saviour shall my life restore,
And raise me from my dark abode,
My flesh and soul shall part no more,
But dwell for ever near my God.
Detailed information:
Mrs. S.L. Webb gave birth to a son on 18 June 1838 and on 13 January 1843 to another son. On 17 September 1844(?) Mr. Samuel Webb passed away at the age of 54. He was proprietor of the veterinary stables, and late in charge of the Governor General’s stables.
